Hello World!
I am Alessio, an Italian Expat currently living in Shanghai, and I work as an Industrial Engineer here.
I have a strong passion for different cultures. Many events brought me to visit China several times, and eventually to live here, at least for a part of my life.
Here you can find out more about this blog idea and about its title, The Eurasian Efficient Frontier.

Who is this Page “Life in Europe” for?
This Page is for open minded people who would like to know more about Europe.
I currently live in Asia, but my roots are deep in Europe (I also have a small “European Corner” in my Shanghai apartment, see this post xxx).
Europe is my homeland, and my Expat condition forces me to see it from a long distance. Distance can be painful, but it can also give the opportunity to see things without being too involved, thus with lower bias and overcoming prejudice. This lack of involvement should also help focusing on the Big Picture of things without wasting too much attention to secondary details surrounding us in our daily lives. I will try to use this special perspective to share my experiences and opinions about my continent in an interesting way.
I hope that Chinese people will find learning more about Europe and its people interesting.
I will also try to help Europeans understand what Chinese people think and feel about us and our continent.
